The Project:
The space allocated for this home theater in the basement of a new construction residence was somewhat limited. Fortunately, there was just enough room for the equipment and a few chairs to comfortably seat the homeowners and their grand children.
Acoustical design and treatments were an important consideration in this project. The clients wished the system to sound great in the room while not over-powering the rest of the house. A four inch acoustic treatment zone was utilized for the side and rear walls.
The projector was an Epson Powerlite Pro Cinema 810. The sound speaker array was powered by a JBL Synthesis 2 system. Seating was provided by Acoustic Innovations.
The Designer for the Project was Jason Spence. Jason also won a Design Award from Electronic House Magazine earleier in the year.
