As new incoming 2012 Chair to the CEA Audio-Video Retailer Division, Michael Pope will also be involved with the Board of Industry Leaders.  The CEA Board of Industry Leaders (BIL) are CXOs of regular or retailer/integrator member companies in good standing who have broad experience in the consumer electronics industry, have been active in CEA activities and who can represent the industry’s interests. Industry Leaders are elected during the annual Fall General Membership Meeting and may serve for a term of up to three years.

The Board of Industry Leaders meets three times annually to review the state of the industry and determine CEA strategic goals to assist the industry and members. The Board of Industry Leaders shall be responsible for electing the Executive Board of the association.
